Membership is a MUST

Good day everyone!
As we discussed in Chapter Conference Sunday- we need to be better membership stewards! This committee will be providing ideas and advice to all chapters on how to gain members and how to retain members...lets face it, without members and without membership fees we will struggle getting our message out- to end GLBTQ discrimination.

I forsee our group discussing membership at the most basic of levels, who and why people join our group, how can we market our group to those who have our same views, what does it take to engage members, how we communicate with members to keep them engaged and how to retain members long term..

I know I am new to KEC- I am certainly not knew to marketing, I spent 12 years with a publicly traded company and managed the Central US for them-my focus was the customer- how to attract them, engage them and retain them.

I do know that we need to GROW and then continue to grow- year after year by gaining new members and keeping current ones..

Please let me know if you would like to join this committee- I would really like to have a representative from every chapter- we will have tele-conferences and few in person meetings-before we turn our recommendations over to Chapter Conference..
