Sylvia Guerrero to present 'The Gwen Araujo Story' The Anti-Hate and Respect Week's main speaker, Sylvia Guerrrero, will present "The Gwen Araujo Story" at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, in the CAC Theater. In October 2002, Araujo was brutally bludgeoned and strangled to death by three men. It appeared that they had become enraged by discovering that Gwen was biologically male.
