KEC Southwest was incorporated on March 14, 2006. So far we have over 60 members!

We cover 22 counties: Morton, Stevens, Seward, Meade, Clark, Comanche, Barber, Harper, Stanton, Grant, Haskell, Gray, Ford, Kiowa, Pratt, Hamilton, Kearny, Finney, Hodgeman, Edwards, Pawnee & Stafford. Soon there will also be a Northwest chapter which will cover 22 counties as well: Cheyenne, Rawlins, Decatur, Norton, Phillips, Smith, Sherman, Thomas, Sheridan, Graham, Rooks, Wallace, Logan, Gove, Trego, Ellis, Greeley, Wichita, Scott, Lane, Ness & Rush.

We have a monthly chapter meeting/social event at various locations throughout the region. Check this web page for information regarding the location of our chapter meetings.

We had our second Annual Meeting on April 25, 2008 and elected officers.

Come Play with us at Lake Coldwater on Saturday July 12th

Come play on Lake Coldwater like we did last summer. Bring some food to share/grill &/or beverages. Bring friends, lawnchairs, your bike. Go tubing behind Tanya's boat. Swim. Hang out. Relax. Sunbathe.

Reporting on June Mtg & Cookout on 6/13

Fifteen members and friends had a good time at Lindy & Warren's meeting about KEC business and then eating and socializing. About 5 people were at their first KEC event! The weather was close to perfect: a slight breeze, 80 degrees and barely a bug so their big back yard proved a relaxing spot to visit.
