Never-ending Film Festival -- Saving Face

It's that time again and we hope you join us for the Kansas Equality Coalition, Lawrence/Douglas County Chapter’s FREE Never-ending Film Festival at Liberty Hall. This month’s feature, the romantic comedy, Saving Face, will be shown on Tuesday, February 9 @ 7 pm.

The Lawrence/Douglas County Chapter will be hosting films every few months as part of our Never-ending festival. We hope you will all join us for some popcorn, soda, beer and community and a fun loving film, Saving Face!

Non-Discrimination Bill Approved by Senate Committee!

Hi all,

Great news, once again! Our non-discrimination bill, SB169, has again been approved by the Kansas Senate Federal and State Affairs Committee.

Thanks to all of you who were here at the Capitol today to show your support, and thanks to all of you who have worked so hard over the years to get this bill moved out of committee.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! Send a hand-written thank-you note to those senators who voted with us today. It means a lot to them when they hear from us, especially on these votes that stir up the radical right. All mail should be sent to:
